At Makey Makey, Code-a-Key Backpack has been created to seamlessly blend the power of both the Makey Makey and the BBC micro:bit (sold separately) into your projects—simply and elegantly. No messy bundles of wires, no required breadboarding (unless you want to!), and no complex circuitry.
With the Code-a-Key Backpack, your micro:bit can trigger up to 6 keypresses and provide full mouse control through the back of your Makey Makey. Even better, the micro:bit can detect keypresses and mouse actions, allowing it to respond in countless creative ways—light up an image on its display, play a sound, control a servo motor, and more.
NOTE: The Code-a-Key Backpack only works with Makey Makey version 1.5 or higher! Makey Makey and mico:bit boards sold separately.
